The Jerome Smith Memorial Scholarship

The Cottonwood Cattle Producers are pleased to announce the establishment of the Jerome Smith Memorial scholarship. This scholarship is in memory of Jerome’s dedication and contribution to the area. He was a dedicated employee, volunteer, and community leader who demonstrated a passion for service and teaching hands-on experience and knowledge within his community.

Scholarship Information:

Due Date: Applications must be postmarked, emailed to deter086@umn.edu, or delivered to the Cottonwood County Extension office by April 1, 2024.
Criteria: 2024 high school senior from Brown, Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray, Redwood, or Watonwan counties.
Amount: This is a one-time $500 scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded annually. The recipients of the scholarship will be notified on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
